Professional Background

Ronald R. Sathre, CPP, has over 20 years of national and international experience in the fields of corporate security management, safety and emergency planning and is president of The PB4Y Group.

As a professional speaker, Ron Sathre has spoken to thousands of individuals locally and across the country about security, safety, management, emergency planning, identify theft and workplace violence topics.

Experience

Prior to entering corporate security management, Mr. Sathre was a Special Agent for the Defense Investigative Service, Department of Defense. Subsequently in Ron's civilian career, he was the Facility Security Officer for the ROLM Corporation. He has also played a major role in the corporate security management arena with such companies as Crocker National Bank, San Francisco, CA; AMPEX Corporation, Redwood City, CA; Trilogy Systems, Inc., Cupertino, CA; IBM & Siemens, Santa Clara, CA; and Network Appliance, Sunnyvale, CA.

Education

Mr. Sathre holds a B.S. Degree from San Jose State University (SJSU), San Jose, CA, in Administration of Justice, with a minor in Business. He also holds a California State Emergency Teaching Credential.

Ron is also a member of ASIS and is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association.
