Professional Background
Henry Hutchins provides expertise and direction to both domestic and international companies implementing manufacturing improvement systems. He is a highly sought after facilitator in manufacturing education and career assessment training. Henry is a national APICS instructor and an experienced training program developer.
Experience
Hutchins has spent over twenty years in industry divided between communications, training, procurement, and production control. He directed the development and implementation of MRP applications to remanufacture and assemble the rockets for America's space shuttle.
Hutchins is certified by APICS at the fellow level, CFPIM, and certified CIRM. He is certified by ISM as C.P.M. and A.P.P., and is recognized as a Certified Professional Manager, CM, by the Institute of Certified Professional Managers. He is past president of the Space Coast Chapter of APICS, and is past president of the ISM affiliate, Florida Space Coast. Hutchins has authored and edited five books on materials management and procurement. He has also been published in a wide variety of professional journals and national magazines.
