Professional Background

Nicole Croddick is an attorney and experienced bilingual business training facilitator.

As a consultant and compliance trainer on employment law issues, Nicole facilitates classes on sexual harassment and discrimination prevention; ethnic sensitivity; workplace ethics; lawful hiring; and employee disciplinary procedures and documentation mechanics.

Ms. Croddick practices labor and employment law. She has drafted employee handbooks; updated employment applications and employee discipline forms; drafted severance agreements; facilitated training on a variety of employment law / compliance topics; conducted internal investigations on ethical and legal violations; and consulted companies on human resources issues.

Her work experience includes time working with the New Jersey Superior Court where She drafted legal opinions for the court. Nicole also worked as a juvenile prosecutor in New York City where she specialized in narcotics and gang intelligence collection. While this experience doesn't specifically relate to employment law, it serves as a background for some interesting anecdotes and experiences that can apply in internal investigations, discipline and business ethics training.

Through Nicole Croddick’s experience conducting internal investigations she has gained real life examples and expertise on what problems truly exist in the modern workplace. She uses numerous examples, from her experience, in her training sessions. Whether she conducts the training in English or Spanish, rest assured, your participants won’t be bored. Here is what one client had to say about her training:

The harassment prevention training was engaging, relevant and interactive. There was not a moment of boredom. The real life stories and examples brought the training to life. The instructor was very knowledgeable on the subject matter and brought the material "down to earth." She was able to deliver an equally impressive training in both English and Spanish that all levels of employees could grasp. Her training on Legal Issues in Hiring and Employee Discipline, for managers, opened our eyes to all of the potential issues we face on a daily basis. This training is a must for all managers everywhere!
